It is from 1971 and comes set in the iconic 45mm solid stainless steel case.
The bezel is a clean black colour (B1) with (still) luminous increments.
The dial is a stunning original blue colour (D4) with contrasting aged-creamy hour markers and hands, including the orange-edged minute hand used to time the dives and the flat-topped hour hand.
It also has a date feature at 3 o’clock and is protected by a flat mineral crystal glass.
On the left side of the case is a protected screw-down crown and on the right, the striking orange helium release valve.
It is powered by the Omega calibre 1002 automatic movement, protected by a solid caseback.
It comes fitted on a ‘sharkproof’ stainless steel mesh bracelet with a folding steel clasp.
